Among the great masters of twentieth-century photography.
Pinault Collection preserves a selection of Roger Schall's photographs within its permanent collection, reflecting the growing institutional recognition of his work among leading international collections. While the complete inventory has never been made public, several photographs are known to have entered the Collection over the years.
In 2024, three of Roger Schall's photographs were presented in Chronorama: Photographic Treasures of the 20th Century, at the Pinault Collection in Venice. Displayed alongside works by some of the most influential photographers of the twentieth century, they contributed to an exhibition exploring the evolution of modern photography through exceptional prints drawn from the Collection's holdings.
